Murphey Posted June 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2005 Just wanted to let Alaska Princess cruisers on this hint. There is a nice bar in Juneau that for the price of a drink/juice/soda you can have 20+ minutes of "included" internet. It's called the Triangle Bar and it's located right in town within easy walking distance of where ever the ship docks. Walk up the main street (Go past the Red Dog Saloon). You'll get to an intersection where the street veers off to the left (creating a "triangle"!). The place is on the left. The regular bartender's name is Sandy and the owner is Leann. They are both great gals. If it's not busy, they'll let you use the computers longer and they are lightening fast.

Budget Queen Posted June 13, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2005 There is also good internet access for free right at the dock library. Actually , all Alaska ports have free internet access at their librarys.
cruisingbug Posted June 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2005 Thanks for posting this tip! We checked out the free Internet at the Juneau library - there were quite a few ships in that day, and a long wait to use the computers.
