Luggage question - Barcelona

Arriving in Barcelona the night before cruise. How early can we drop our luggage off at the cruise dock? Would like to go on hop-on-hop-off bus before ship leaves.

 

I know that staterooms will not be ready until 1:30 p.m. or later.

 

Any suggestions besides taking luggage on bus?

WHERE are you staying? Why don't you just leave the luggage at your hotel ,take your tour, and then check out and go to the dock.

I have dropped of luggage as early as 9:30 before.

Hotels are used to people needing to leave luggage for several hours after check-out. They have storage rooms for that.

Barcelona is great port for dropping off luggage. Have always checked luggage in and went to explore city. Last time the ship did not arrive into port until 1pm but I had already checked my luggage through by 9.45am!!

Thank you for your answers. Hotel is close to airport and they will provide transportation to the cruise port. If we leave luggage there, we have to take a taxi to and from hotel to go on the Hop on Hop off bus. We figured if we could leave luggage at cruise port and then go on scenic tour of Barcelona, it would better.

 

Originally, we were going to fly out one day earlier and have an entire day to sight see. However, flights were an extra $600. So decided to fly out one day later. From Venice, we are flying to Munich where we will spend an additional week sightseeing in Germany (Bavaria) etc.
