L'Anse aux Meadows

Our cruise ship itinerary includes a stop at L'Anse aux Meadows this June. This is a relatively new port of call so I haven't found very much information for cruisers. Is it possible to walk from the tender pier to the archaeological site? Will transportation to Norstead be available?

 

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I can't answer the question about the distance from the port since I was there on a bus trip but it is a very worthwhile place to visit. It was pretty chilly when we were there at the end of June. You might be able to see icebergs while there.

 

Nfld is a lovely place to visit.

We are anchoring at l'Anse Meadows & heard it is a short walk away
