I bought my ocean view cabin through a TA for 750 dollars per person a year before I took my nine day on the Gem early this month and thought I got a bargain. When a fellow cruiser told me, she got a balcony on the same cruise for 599 a person, through a NCL flash sale, 7 months before, I got hooked by their sales and registered myself for them. Still waiting for that sales offer.
