Rivieria Deck 7

I see Oceania is your favorite cruise line. This will be our first experience on Oceania and we are very excited about it! My husband was concerned about the casino being directly underneath us and possible noise at all hours of the night {bad experience from another cruise line}. He wanted to go up to Deck 8, more money, so I decide to check it out on Cruise Critic and get some opinions from past cruisers.

No need to worry at all. Sometimes the casino is dead. You will be fine on deck 7

Hi , we are just on cruise with the Riviera and I can tell from first hand there is no noise pollution from the casino. The Casino is only very small, not to compare with other ships. Enjoy your choice of a stateroom, no need for changing.

Thanks for the information everyone! Is Deck 7 high enough above the water line or should we book a cabin on a higher deck? We are not familiar with Oceania ships and we had a bad experience on another cruise line with a lower deck cabin.

Thanks!:)

115935.jpgThe blue line which is just above the name of the ship runs at the level of the floor of Deck 7. Judging from the size of the people in the launch, I would say that it is fifty feet above the waterline.
