In just over a week we are taking my (young) adult sons on a spring break carnival cruise. *pray for us* :p

Then at the end of October (Halloween!) we are going to Italy for a cruise/tour. We'll spend 4 days in Rome then one week on NCL epic with stops in Barcelona, Naples, Cannes, Florence, Palma Majorca (not in that order).

It will be our 3rd trip on NCL Epic and we are super excited!

Just booked a somewhat last minute sailing on HAL's Veendam from Boston to Bermuda on 05/09. First time on HAL but Bermuda is a fave destination and HAL docks in Hamilton! :D

DH can't get the time off work so it's a mother/son trip this time.

My wife and I are 27 days away from our first NCL sailing on the Pearl to Alaska. This is finally our honeymoon, our first trip without our kids! Celebrating our 7th anniversary ( 1st " officially married" here in Oregon- 5/19 ,but we go with our original DP ceremony for anniversary date...which coincidentally,is both our birthday 6/7). Leaving on the 14 th because kids don't finish school until the 11th.

I had originally wanted Carribean,as nothing beats kicking back on a sea day with a few frozen drinks, but airfare from PDX would have pretty much doubled our vacation, whether we left from FL or NYC and that was hard to ignore. Getting to leave from Seattle made the trip much more realistic this time around. We are looking forward to seven days of us time. Haven't booked an excursion or even a meal time,as we totally just want to blow with the wind every day!

What a nice thread to read. Congrats to all the couples...amazing! We had our 25th anniversary in 2013 as well and did 10 day HAL cruise from Rome To Copenhagen then stayed 4 days in Copenhagen in an apartment. Amazing trip since we splurged and had the penthouse!

We are currently booked for Eastern Mediterranean 10 day on Celebrity Reflection this October. This will be our "honeymoon" since we plan to get married between now and then. We are just waiting for SCOTUS to make it nationwide before going through with it even though it is available in our state now.

Happy cruising and anniversaries to all! :)

We just booked on the Grand Princess departing from San Francisco to Mexico on Dec 20th. We're two dads and will be bringing our kids (13 and 18). We have been on two cruises with Princess and we have always found the LGBT meet-ups to be well attended and fun. - Bill and Mark

The great thing about cruising is so many itineraries, lines and beautiful ships to choose from! So yep, changed again but this time is a done deal as our final payment was just made yesterday - Woot Woot!!!

We are leaving in 3.5 months for a 12-night Sydney roundtrip cruise on Celebrity Solstice, visiting Fiji and New Caledonia. It'll be my husband's 40th birthday cruise and our first time visiting any of these ports. We are super-excited!

Hey guys congrats on 25. My partner and I just celebrated commitment 16 years ago in maui, 15 years ago Civil Union at Mt Kilington Vt and last December we are married at our Ucc church 15 min after getting the marriage license in Fort Wayne Indiana.

My partner and I have gone on three cruise together a short one to Cozumel out of NOLA, one of Eastern Carribean out of Miami and a south bound from Whittier AK to Vancouver. Since you like hiking if you havent been to AK before see if you can find one with a stop in Stika. It appears that few stop there but it has a great national park and raptor rescue center and bunch of Russian historical stuff since that was the russian capital of Alaska until the mid 1800s. We also did and 5 day Rv trip prior to the cruise and visited Denali Fairbanks and the Fyrods near Seward. If you wnat nice cozy morning with coffee on the balcony it is very nice. we didnt do any shows or casino on the trips since we were tired from the hiking site seeing and the it still left time for play. We didnt do any cruise line excursions but did all things we found on trip advisor. In Skagway we opted not to do the yukon train ride instead we drove 89 miles with an online guide on Road to Emerald Lake. it was incredible and was about 1/5 the cost of the 26 miles train ride. the drive was 90 miles. We also did a zip line in jueno by Canopy tours which was not the cruise line excursion. We got a jet boat ride to and from the dock and there were two more walking bridges and 4 more zip lines. We love that our cruise ended in Vancouver. We had never been so we had a few days just enjoying the local. I am an honorary Canadians since I was in a fraterity in Flint Michgain that had a majority of its members from Canada.

I would stay away from teh lower price cruise lines but anything in alaska will probably have and older group of folks. Carnival anytime of the year has a ton of kids that are not managed by parents and if it is family cruise ship make sure it has a serenity deck where no one under 18 is allowed.
