Moomduck1 Posted March 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2013 Has anyone taken a private tour out of Quebec to either the Falls or St Anne's? The ship offers an excursion but I was considering doing it ourselves if possible. We aren't in port that long. I think I read on a post that there is a public bus, but I was concerned that might take long. There's so much to see. We could even stay in port all day in Old Quebec and not be disappointed. Thank you.
maryann ns Posted March 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2013 I would stay in Quebec where there is more than enough to see. It is very old and full of history, shops and restaurants. If you were to want to venture further, I would suggest you rent a car.

calita Posted March 30, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 30, 2013 We went several days early as this city is a not to miss place. We used the Visitor Center to book our tours and were very happy. We stayed in the old town and did lots of walking around too...
maryann ns Posted March 30, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 30, 2013 I go to Quebec City frequently and have not seen rickshaws. I have never paid for a caleche but it would be fun. Just wandering around is wonderful. You do dock in the lower town and can walk from there.
