Restaurant Recommendations

We are sailing to Bermuda for the first time at the end of September for a 7 night cruise. I was wondering if anyone had any great restaurants to share? We are thinking about having 2 dinners off the ship. Any type(s) of cuisine are fine, but we are not really looking for the typical tourist traps. We could probably find those on our own. Thanks in advance.

Our favorite place to eat is in Hamilton, the Hog Penny Pub. If you get there be sure to get the Bermuda Fish Chowder with the shot of dark rum and hot sherry sauce. It's great. In St. George we like the White Horse Inn. If it's a nice day sit out on their deck by the canal.

Saw people mention Hog Penny in Hamilton, definitely a nice pub atmosphere. Stopped in for late afternoon appetizers and drinks after day walking around Hamilton and it hit the spot. Also in Hamilton had good experience many years ago in the Lobster Pot. Seem to recall that it was more of a local’s spot, businessman, etc., but not that bad. Found it by asking in hotel we were staying at the time. North Rock Brewing is another pub like place in Smith’s Parish, pretty good pub food.
