Silly food question

Don't remember ever seeing applesauce on Carnival.

Instead of jars, how about using pouches?

If flying buy them before your cruise.

FWIW the fridges stay in the 60F range, a bit too warm for food storage. The leftovers can be kept in your ice bucket. If one is not in your cabin your steward will get you one.

The only time we were able to get applesauce on Carnival was on the same day that they served roast pork loin. They were really sweet once they realized that it was for the baby they gave us a huge serving in a dish to take back to the cabin with us. However, applesauce was not a regular food item :(
