didiaust Posted April 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2013 Greetings fellow cruise tragics. Had a bit of a break from cruising (14 months) and couldn't pass up the cheap fares on offer for Spirit. Am hoping recent cruisers on this ship will be able to help with a couple of questions. 1. On which level and where is the laundry . Are the machines still token operated or card operated. 2. Are there still cocktails with $5 to spend in the casino 3. Are there soup spoons in the buffet area ( Royal don't have so assumed neither do Carnival)- pet hate - soup using dessert spoons lol Will do a review when we return Di

There was a laundry on each accommodation level. Don't know about the machines, only used the iron. 2. Yes, known as their classics and listed on the left of the cocktail menu. I picked up 3 coupons and had a win. You need to match the $5 coupon with $5 of your own. Just take your cocktail receipt to the cashier in the casino and they give you the coupons. 3. We ate in the Nouveau restaurant and the soup was served with a dessert spoon, go figure. Didn't have soup in the Empire but imaging it would be the same. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night cruise to Tasmania.
