Baltimore Parking

Hi All,

 

I'm cruising on the Carnival Pride out of Baltimore in May. Can anyone tell me how much parking is at the port? I'm trying to decide if I should drive there and park for a week, or take a train from NYC.

not sure where the closest Amtrak station is, probably BWI. Cab ride should be fairly reasonable.

The closest Amtrak station is Baltimore Penn Station, not BWI, approximately 5 miles and a short taxi ride from the cruise terminal. ;)

Madelinerose is correct. Baltimore Penn Station is closer than BWI to the Cruise Maryland Terminal. It should be cheaper, but not necessarily faster.

Once you leave BWI or the BWI Amtrak Station the trip to the Terminal is twelve miles all of it on Interstate highways [i-195 and I-95]. The only traffic light is when you exit I-95 just before you arrive at the Terminal. The fare from BWI to the Maryland Cruise Terminal is regulated and is set at $35.

It should be less money, and perhaps a tad more time, from Penn Station using city streets with traffic lights at nearly every intersection.
