Cabana beach?

Anyone been there? Is it nice,sandy,rock free etc. is it crowded? We are on the island 15 hours and would like to go to a beach and not having to worry about leaving early to catch the ship. We don't leave until 11pm. We need to taxi. We will not rent a car. This beach looks nice on you tube.
