We are contacting you with important information regarding your upcoming sailing on the Oasis of the Seas on April 13th. Due to recent government budget reductions, U.S. Customs and Border Protection staffing has been affected, creating a longer immigration processing time for departing guests, and the ship has experienced a later clearance time for arriving guests. Therefore, your check-in window is now between 12:30pm to 3:45pm, which is later than the times published in your cruise documents. Please do not arrive at the terminal prior to 12:30pm. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and look forward to welcoming you onboard.

On the Allure now. We got same e-mail last week. However, we got to terminal at 11:15am and we were on the ship by 11:30am. No delays what-so-ever.

However, be careful on arranging disembarkation transportation. The process exiting all the ships is now greatly delayed due to the reduction in the number of Border Protection agents at almost every Florida port. We've usually been able to clear immigration on our back to back cruises before 11a.m.(last ones off/back on the ship except for departing crew) and we were delayed in Port Everglades until noon. So you may want to reschedule any before noon airflights.
