Island Princess

After much searching we have decided on the Island Princess Cruise/Tour for our first cruise. I have gotten a lot of help from these boards!!

 

Put a hold on a cabin, need to put the deposit on today. Tenatively chose C310 which is the first in the bump out. I did look at Tom O's config (thanks!), but want to hear from anyone about that cabin, the recessed cabin seems further back. Also, this one is covered (thanks again Tom) is that a good thing or not?

 

Also do most people book directly with the cruise line or a third party? Thanks!!!

I would post the question specific to Princess on the Princess Cruises cruise line board.

 

We use a TA when we book as they often can provide amenities beyond what the cruise line can provide.

Princess allows a TA to discount the fare. We shop around and usually find someone give a 10 to 15 % discount.

A TA refers to a Travel Agent.

 

Cruise Critic rules prohibit us from posting names of Travel Agents.
