RCCL oasis casino. How much to bet

I am a fairly novice casino player. Probably average $150-200 per day in casino "donations" a day. How much do you have to gamble to be invited to players club and start earning comps?

Also, what comps do they offer and at what level of play?

I'm traveling on the Oasis on May25th and plan on spending some time at the casino.

Unfortunately, tompeter is right. Your bankroll might not be sufficient to qualify for Club Royale membership.

The magic number to get invited to join Club Royale is 2,000 points. You get 1 point for every $5 gambled through the machine. As a member of Club Royale, the primary "comp" that you get is a "rebate" based on your level of play that you can get as cash in the casino during your next cruise or as a payment toward your next cruise. The casino host may offer additional comps during the cruise such as free drink coupons that you can use at the casino bar or dinner at one of the specialty restaurants.

Regardless, you do earn points for playing. You can cash them in for a variety of things including key chains, T-shirts, and so on, but also for cash. Each 1,000 points earned is worth $20 cash back at the end of the cruise. (Don't forget to cash in your points on the last night.)

I can confirm that 2,000 seems to be the point level - I was on the Allure a few weeks ago (won a bunch at Ultimate Texas Hold em - a straight flush and 4 of a kind in 2 days, so I started playing the video version of the game, which counts as a slot).

By the time I noticed my points were at 2,025 the host was introducing himself to me.

Not quite sure if they count just the slot play for the rebate, but just found out I will have $625 waiting for me at the cage on my next cruise (Independence in Jan.) - a nice little bonus considering the casino basically paid for our Allure cruise.

Congratulations on your good fortune, and welcome to the Club. :)

It's nice to be doted upon by the casino host. I hope that he took good care of you while you were onboard.

Who was your casino host?

You have to gamble A LOT to qualify for a "free" drink....just gamble what you're comfortable with, and buy your own drinks! It's much cheaper that way! Gambling on the ship is NOTHING like gambling in Vegas!

Thanks!

I can't complain - he gave me 6 or 7 drink tickets, and this was on the last afternoon of the cruise, so it took some trying to use all of them up, but we managed!

The host's name was Mark Cassidy, was friendly enough, but again, since I didnt qualify untill the last afternoon, I only had that one interaction with him.

I did take advantage of the no fee cash from the casino, I think thats the perk I like best, no more having to carry lots of cash onto the cruise (hopefully that benefit is on future cruises as well).

I missed the parenthetically comment here. Yes, you'll continue to get the no-fee SeaPass advances from the casino cashier. That's a standard feature for Club Royale members. Do make sure to let Club Royale know when you've booked another RCI cruise so that they can update the booking to reflect that you're a Club Royale member to ensure that you'll receive the appropriate benefits and recognition on that cruise.
