B2B at an alternate embarkation port

Recommended Posts

I am wondering if anyone can share what sort of procedures you experienced between legs of a back to back if your initial port was an alternate port?

We are sailing the Legend from Genoa. The main port is Civitavechia (one day sooner). I think there is a decent chance we'll be the only B2Bers at the alternate port.

Does anyone have any idea if this makes a difference as to how smoothly things go or what we will need to do?

Not sure what will happen in Europe but I believe in the US RCI will put you up in a hotel room overnight. You need to call RCI and have your reservations linked and get them to put you through to the B2B desk. If the ports are a distance from each other I'm not sure if they will arrange transportation as well. Perhaps someone else knows this.
