Dining with friends..

Is it always possible when arriving at the dining room to dine with another couple and request table size?

Can you pre-reserve a time?

Thanks!

Yes, yes and no :D

You can dine anytime with anyone and request any size table (within reason). There are no reservations needed or made in the MDR - only for the specialty restaurants.

I hope this helps.

On our Down Under cruise in Feb. of 2012, a group of ten met through CC and organized excursions together. We wanted to meet and get to know each other prior to the excursions. Since there is a limit to the number of tables that will seat ten, the Maitre D' graciously allowed us to make a reservation for lunch. We had a wonderful time and really bonded over the two weeks. In fact, six of us are going on an African safari together next year. Enjoy your cruise; the staff will do everything in their power to ensure you have everything you need and want ~ and even those things you didn't know you wanted.
