Alaska Cruise question

I have the choice between Celebrity: Solstice ocean view.. or... Star Princess with a balcony. I do prefer the balcony cabin, yes, but also really like the "more mature" crowd of the Solstice. Ive never cruised Princess before.. Anyone here cruise Star Princess and feel it had "too many kids" on it?

We have been on two Princess cruises to Alaska and neither had many children

We sailed Princess to Ak in May and Sept and there were not a lot of kids.

Definately, Princess. They have been doing Alaska the longest and do it the best IMHO. Especially if you are adding lodges, bus, rail - Princess owns them.

The demographics are similar on all Alaskan cruises. I have been to Alaska on Carnival and Princess and the crowds were pretty much the same. Families and older people.

 

Which cruise has the better itinerary for you?

One factor is when are you planning on going. In May and September, kids are usually back at school.
