I have read, however, that if you leave the stickers on the bottles, you can bring them aboard a future cruise without paying corkage a second time. That is, if you can wait that long to drink them! :p

We were told that if we took it to a bar on the last night the bar manager would give us a refund on our onboard account. We talked to a couple of managers who couldn't quite have time or know how to do it. We talked to our concierge and he got it done. I don't know if that was an unusual situation, but I'm just saying it isn't impossible.
