birdylady Posted April 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2013 We are scheduled to sail the Allure next week and have reservations for 150 Central Park. Hubby was looking online and saw the sample menu and he didn't find it that appealling. Can someone who has recently dined there let me know if this is the menu or if it is something different? And if it is different, any chance you have a copy of the current menu? http://media.royalcaribbean.com/content/shared_assets/pdf/menus/150centralpark_AL.pdf Thanx, Erika
Eriksgarden Posted April 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2013 We ate there in March 2012. To me, it seemed more about combining rare ingredients together than creating courses that led one through a wonderful meal and experience. I would drop the reservation and go to Chops Grill. rsharp83 Posted May 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 1, 2013 Ate there week of April 14. Group of 8. I have a complete review of it in my trip review. Honestly, the group was split on it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Sugar*Magnolia Posted May 1, 2013 #6 Share Posted May 1, 2013 Seasonal and local ingredients are used here. The menu changes. I read an article just yesterday about the continued partnership with Chef Michael Schwartz ("Farm to Ship Program") and the new tasting menus....Glad they are "Keepin' it Fresh!!" I would wait to see the menu once you board, then decide. You can always cancel then.
Gonzo70 Posted May 1, 2013 #7 Share Posted May 1, 2013 My wife and I loved 150 CP so much we booked a second dinner there so we could experience both menus (this was on Allure September of 2012). Chef Molly Brandt was onboard and it was fun to get to meet her. For us the meals at 150 CP were the best meals we have had on a cruise ship. It is not a place to go if you are a picky eater (as it is tasting menu, so you do not order off a menu), but if you like most foods it is a wonderful experience. They will try to do some tweaks on the menu if there is a couple of things you dislike.
