I went down to Greenwich, London today to see the privately owned 'The World' cruise ship.

It is the ship which has approximately 40 residences on board and they spend their entire life cruises around the world.

It was a very impressive looking ship!!

Apparently it is the largest privately owned cruise ship in the world!!

The cheapest unit is about $500k with $4k monthly fee.

Meals are extra when on board.

As expensive as that sounds, I assumed it would be dearer.

I didn't think food would be extra though, I thought that would be covered with the monthly fee.

I have posted a video of it in the cruise videos section if you want to take a look.

Food is extra because many people rent the units out when not in use .

$4K is just the routine fees that they pay for docking, fuel and common areas. It is just a Condo that floats from Sea to Sea to Sea.
