Fort Lauderdale laundry-B2B Cruise

My wife and I have a back-to-back cruise planned, on two different cruise lines, and want to take advantage of the six hour gap to do some laundry. [We would rather not bring 14 days worth of clothing with us!]. Has anybody found a laundromat near the ship terminals in Fort Lauderdale that would be convenient for this purpose? Thank you for your help in advance. Debbie and Bruce

Depending on which ship (and therefore which berth) it is possible to walk to 17th street. We got off the MSC Poesia and walked to 17th with our luggage in about 6 minutes. It would have been about the same again to walk up to where the laundry is.

I seem to think Princess was right beside us.

Have you looked into how much it costs to send laundry out on the ship? I always use the unlimited laundry service on the ship. When I factor in the total amount money I've paid for my cruise vacation, $7 a day for unlimited laundry is nothing. Enjoy your vacation.....let someone else do the laundry ;)
