Sargent_Schultz Posted June 5, 2013 Author #931 Share Posted June 5, 2013 I could not believe some of the whiners on the tour. As if Carnival controls the weather. Some elected to stay on the bus - they hadn't prepared for the weather. but almost all had or just made do.

Sarge you know when I saw that 23 and 25 Degrees I nearly had a stroke, LOL. Thanks for giving me the numbers in Fahrenheit.

WiCruiseDreamer Posted June 5, 2013 #940 Share Posted June 5, 2013 I like the above look, but the one below is really horrible to me. Looks crowded, unorganized and messy. and we're off Sorry but the lounge is not at all inviting looking to me.
Sargent_Schultz Posted June 5, 2013 Author #941 Share Posted June 5, 2013 Sorry but the lounge is not at all inviting looking to me. Crowded? There's nobody there. Messy? Some people brought breakfast with them to wait for their tour numbers to be called. It certainly didn't sit there all day. Carnival typically will have you meet 30 minutes before your tour departs. Some people have vivid imaginations.

nybumpkin Posted June 6, 2013 #949 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I could not believe some of the whiners on the tour. As if Carnival controls the weather. I'd like to think it's a case of booking a vacation months in advance and feeling as if you didn't get your money's worth. Weather happens, though. I like your attitude - just make the best of it. Just spoke to oldest son, who is celebrating his upcoming college graduation with a group of friends on the beach in Florida. He's sunburned, mosquito-bitten, and crab-bitten. The weather has been lousy. And now they're under a tropical storm warning. Guess what? He's having the time of his life!:)
