Giantfan13 Posted May 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2013 we will be stopping at Saint Johns, New Brunswick and was wonder if it is possible to take a trip to Campobello. We spent a week in Bar Harbor last year and did a day trip there also visiting the East Quoddy Lighthouse. We were amazed at the tides at the lighthouse, as the sign says they rise over 6 feet an hour. At low tide you can climb down a ladder and walk over to the island that houses the lighthouse. Alas, we were there at high tide and would like to go back. Is this doable from Saint Johns? The couple we are traveling with would love to see Campobello, again, is this a possible trip. We will be in port from 8-5:00PM. Cheers Len
Kamloops50 Posted May 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2013 I would check with an online map program to give that info.
Giantfan13 Posted May 18, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted May 18, 2013 I looked at a map, but I would like to know about the roads. It seems like a good distance, but if it is highway, you could make it in much better time. Cheers Len
