Linda the Book Lover Posted June 21, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2005 This is really hard because each port has yet another special memory and I actually have only been to one I would not return to. OK I pick St. George, Bermuda and the fun of Helmet Diving! Really, I pick anywhere the DH and I could sail, have great cocktails, and just enjoy being together! ciera123 Posted June 21, 2005 #7 Share Posted June 21, 2005 Geiranger, Norway is my favorite, by far. The cruise in thru the fjords and the town are both so beautiful!!!
laurieb Posted June 21, 2005 #8 Share Posted June 21, 2005 Tough choice, but I think I have to choose Huahine for the most fun on an excursion, but Raiatea wins out overall for me.
NitaBcruising Posted June 21, 2005 #9 Share Posted June 21, 2005 Oooh, Laurie, I agree with the best tour being in Huahine! :D But, I loved staying in Moorea! Next would be St. Petersburg, Russia. So much to see, such history! And Finland, where my relatives are from. And, I could go on and on! :o

Toto2Kansas Posted June 21, 2005 #11 Share Posted June 21, 2005 The most interesting port we ever visited would have to be Bali. We stopped there on a ship twice in the early 2000's and it is such an interesting place. Hopefully someday, cruise ships will stop there on a regular basis when sailing that part of the world again. Steamboatin Posted June 21, 2005 #16 Share Posted June 21, 2005 For me this is an easy one to answer. Port of embarkation!!! Because from their your cruise begins to all of the even greater ports of call. With out a port of embarkation you are not on a cruise. I will gladly go to a port of embarkations 52 times a year vs. going to the best port ever 52 times a year. Now think about that for a moment. cruisinkitten Posted June 21, 2005 #24 Share Posted June 21, 2005 Limon, Costa Rica tops my list. We went white water rafting and it was awsome!! The rain forest is so beautiful. Second in line is Grand Caymen but only for the sting ray sandbar.
