jmrothermel Posted May 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2013 If I were to take the repositioning cruise with the following itinerary, would I need a passport book? My kids, husband, and I have the cards, but want to make sure we would need the book. Thanks for your help! Clarea Posted May 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2013 The repositioning cruise is not a closed end cruise, so passports would be necessary. Not sure if the cards would suffice. EDIT: Looks like the passport cards would be sufficient. See link below. Look in the last section under "Open Loop". http://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/en_US/pdf/Passport_And_Visa_Information_06-01-09.pdf

Clarea Posted May 25, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Thank you! I did look on the WHTI website but couldn't find it in "laymans" terms :) I appreciate the help! Just be aware that if something happens to you while on one of the islands, you cannot fly home on a passport card.
