Help picking a cabin?

I currently have a D6 cabin with what looks like a slightly bigger than normal balcony (11572) on deck 11 on hold for the December 1 2014 sailing.

 

Any thoughts about whether it is worth getting the more expensive D1 instead? Or opinions on what deck would be good. I have no idea how to pick the best cabin for us. Sigh.

 

I've never cruised before, and am going on my first on Celebrity this year. My fiancé is a Crown and Anchor member. This ship looks amazing, NJ is convenient to New England, and the date is perfect for us, hence I want to book early!

I would not move to a D1, $860 to move to a D1 is way to much.
