Viking Star 2015 Cruisers List

Judy and Peter from Boston will be on the maiden voyage, Istanbul to Venice, in April, 2015. Roy, thanks for compiling the list of cruisers. As the date of travel gets closer, we'll be looking for others who may wish to share private day tours while in port.

Penny and I (Robert) are on Cape Cod. We're sailing Istanbul to Barcelona, and have my sister and BIL on board Istanbul to Venice. My sister knows the area pretty well; she escorts Stanford travelers, and she's in the Dalmatian area as we speak. So she may have some good ideas for shore trips. We're certainly interested, especially if they are photography-oriented.

We just booked the July 25 Viking Homelands. The attachment shows that Viking Star cruise on July 25 goes from Scandinavia to Spain but I just booked Stockholm to Bergen. Did Viking change the itinerary?

You do realize this is Viking Oceans not Viking River cruises.

The website shows July 25 Stockholm to Barcelona a 29 day cruise.

Sounds nice....someday when I retire plan to take a 29 day cruise.....

I realized that it is not a river cruise as we are booked on the June 13 th " Homelands" cruise. My stating not having done river cruises pertained to Viking as a cruise line and their policies in general especially as it might apply to booking air with them or other such issues. Thanks for your help.

Hi Dottie, I am sorry I misread your post...seems that several people post on here for Viking River.

I have river cruising on my bucket list (getting longer all the time), but that won't be to at least 2016.
