spny84 Posted May 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2013 Has onyone played any live poker on the breakaway? if so:1-how many tables 2-what were the limits 3-how was the action 4-were there any tournaments like on other ships Thanks I didn't actually play but son did and walked through. Hopefully a gambler will respond. Lowest limit we found at any table was $5 but most were $25. Sea days (only days can gamble on Bermuda Itinerary) were very busy. There was a Texas Holdem and Blackjack Tournament on our cruise. You had to per-qualify to be on the last day. According to son, payouts are horrible compared to land. chipfinger Posted August 18, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2013 Just got back from a Breakaway cruise to Bermuda. 1) Cash games: Two tables every night of NLHE $1/2 with a $200 max buy-in. Min raise was double the blind. Straddles allowed. Action started around 9, after the shows let out. Rake is pretty steep however, 10% I think. Usual mix of solid players, donks and people new to live poker, but congenial. 2) Tournaments: They held a 2-table tournament every day at 11 am. $100 buy-in with unlimited rebuys up to a certain time, then one final add-on. Paid three places. First place was around $2,500, so not great if you take into account the number of rebuys and add-ons.
