Hi Everyone,

 

I'm doing good but I know it is cause I have great motivation...I leave tomorrow early a.m. for my cruise! I only have 4 more to get to my SWIFT goal...hopefully I won't screw it up too bad while I'm gone...but then I'll just regroup and start all over!

I've only lost 5 lbs of my 10 lb pledge. I doubt I will make it. I am losing soooo slowly now. I have have 10 lbs to go to goal, but gosh, it is killing me! Why is it when you get so close to goal, it takes forever. Cathy, I know how you feel now, girl!

Since 3/18 I have lost 8 of my pledged 10! Still got my cruise to go before the deadline. If I lose my remaining 2 before the cruise, but gain some during the cruise (which is June 5 - 12) do I get some grace?!

I am not doing so good. I have only lost 1 lb of my 10 lb goal. I am very discouraged today. But, I am still trying and hope to report a better loss next week. I don't even have TOM to blame it on. I am 51 and have just gone through my menopause.

 

My cruise is in July, so even if I don't make my SWIFT goal, I hope to make it by my cruise time. Then it will just be maintenance.

rose, i am sorry you are having such a hard time. maybe you need to take a break for a day or two, and regroup. restart with a bang? or maybe research into a different WOE (no, not the one cake a day diet )? i don't know what you do, but no one diet will work for everyone.

Hi, I'm back to the starting point, 0 lost. But, I did reach my pledge before I went on my 4/9 cruise. I gained 15 on the cruise, the 5 I had just lost pluse 10 I have the ten off and now have to work on the other five. Six more weeks to do it.

Hello, all!

Coming in on this one day late...

Pledged to lose 30 by cruise (Oct), 20 on SWIFT.

Well, the first 10 pounds came off and I am still in a holding pattern. Had a baby shower for my niece this past weekend at my house...and the home-made coconut ice cream was calling my name. Anyway, over and done with...

We are a bit more than half way on SWIFT, so I am focused on 10 more pounds in the next six weeks!.

We can do this!

I did not pledge any certain amount. I just want the scale to go down, and I am very happy to say, that is what it is doing. I can't find where I wrote down my starting pledge weight, but since 4-1-04 I am down 8 lbs. and since starting my new WOE, I am down 25 lbs. as of today! Still have 30-35 lbs. to go.

 

This is a great place to for support. Thanks to everyone we can do this together.

We have pledges every few months to help us lose weight. Keep us aware and give us small goals to meet. We all try to make our goal but.

 

Even if you don't make your goal, it still makes you better off than if you didn't do anything. Say like you pledge to lose 10 lbs. and you only lost 5 lbs. Isn't that better than doing nothing.

 

SWIFT Plrdge was for us to get ready for summer.

 

SWIFT means..Summer Wear IS Fun Today!

Which meant..WE lose weight on this pledge our summer clothes will fit us better..we could wear shorts and those dreaded swimsuits!

 

It ends June 17th our weigh-in day, summer starts June 21st. So on June 17th we will start a new pledge to get us thru the summer...

with loss's or at least with NO gains!
