Retiringworkingstiff Posted June 6, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2013 Sorry this might have been asked/discussed before on this forum ... We booked Dec 1, 2013 6 days on the Breeze. I own 100 shares of CCL stock currently. I understand I can apply for a $50 OBC (haven't done it yet). Since the sailing is still a number of months away, can I apply for the $50 OBC now? If I do indeed get the $50 OBC now, what happen if I sell the 100 shares before the cruise? Just want to play fair game ... All comments welcome, thanks. firefly333 Posted June 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2013 You can apply now.. but OBC applied this early has been known to fall off and you have to reapply... but I have done some far in advance so I am sure it could be done. they wouldnt check to see if you sold as long as it does not fall off. CCL stock making you nervous to hold with bad earnings coming up this month huh?

LittleJeanne Posted June 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2013 The last time I applied for ours early the response that I got back was that it needs to be applied for within 3 months because the proof of stock ownership document needed to be dated within 3months of your sail date. For this reason I have put off sending in my stock statement until this month for my September cruise. But I'm glad that you brought this up because sending this in this week was written on my "To Do" list that I can't find. Enjoy your OBC.
centurycruiser Posted June 6, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I make a point to apply right after my final payment. That lead time from the cruise will vary by the length of the cruise.
Retiringworkingstiff Posted June 8, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted June 8, 2013 LittleJeanne and centurycruiser: Thanks for the additional input. I have made an entry in my calendar to submit the application sometime around October 2013.
