JimAOk1945 Posted June 7, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2013 Thanks for taking the time to post these pictures. The balcony looks great! We were in a mini-suite on the Dolphin deck when we cruised on the Star. We really enjoyed that cruise.

Kentchikan Posted August 9, 2013 #9 Share Posted August 9, 2013 We've been in minis twice on the Star. Once in the cabin next to yours. We love the "E" minis. Looks like 729 has a larger balcony. The other time we were on the other side and occasionally had some noise from the Vista lounge. Loved the 'Star' though.

Kentchikan Posted August 14, 2013 #15 Share Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) Here are some snaps of the interior of a mini suite on the Star. Very roomy and lots of storage. Our friends who sail on Cunard sail in similar cabins and Cunard calls them suites. As to the pictures: I took them for reference not for art. :) Edited August 14, 2013 by Kentskie

Deck_Diva Posted January 27, 2016 #19 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Mini suites on RCCL is so much bigger with walk-in closet n large balcony to accommodate 2 lounge chairs! Love Princess too but except for the size of their mini suite is same size as RCCL stateroom with balcony. So convenient for us to cruise with Princess since they have several itineraries out of SF. I do prefer the food on Princess but the entertainment is hands down on Royal! Just comparing between my 2 fave cruise ships. Happy sailing folks.
