Cafe el Bacia - lunch time savouries

When we were on the Solstice in January there were no lunch time savouries here - (despite it still showing on the menu). They just had the cakes display instead and I find these look inviting but do tend to dissapoint on a flavour front.....

 

I didn't ask if it was a fleet wide thing....

 

Does anyone know as I have an Eclipse voyage coming up soon and I loved these as a light alternative to lunch.

 

Aplogies if this has been posted elsewhere, I did a search and couldnt find anything.

They weren't on the Eclipse in April. I asked and was told it was just pastries now :(

 

Disappointing, as I was looking forward to their savouries too.

We were on Equinox last month, and they had the lunchtime savouries every day.

 

Not sure if this is maybe an 'Eclipse' thing. Last time we were on Eclipse they definitely had them, but that was a year ago.

Only sweets on the Infinity in May. We asked and were told they no longer have the little sandwiches.

They had them on the Reflection at the end of March, but not sure if it was every day. Cute and delicious little sandwiches.

Those tiny sandwiches have been moved to the buffet on the Eclipse. We just took a plate of them up to our room in the afternoon.

We were on Reflection last month, and they had an array of little sandwiches, along with all the sweets.

What a mixed bag of responses - thank you very much all of you, perhaps its just down to each ship.

 

Fingers crossed that they will be there - but I won't hold may breath.

We were on Eclipse at the end of March and Café al Baccio only had cakes and chocolate squares (at the cash register) no sandwiches or savouries.

 

Also Michaels Bar didn't have 40 different types of beer on offer either.

 

My DH was disappointed. :confused:
