VIFP for each family member?

HI all,

 

We have 3 adults and 2 kids under one reservation for the Carnival pride in less than 2 weeks! A friend suggested that I sign each person (kids included) for a VIFP number.

 

Is this what people do?

 

When I try online it says "are you a past guest?"---Not really, we haven't sailed yet.

 

Can someone just point me in the right direction.

I believe all family members will get different numbers, I know my kids did

Our family of 4 each has their own VIFP account set up. From what I can tell, you need only create an account for each family member here: https://secure.carnival.com/BookedGuest/guestmanagement/registration/enroll
