tartanexile81 Posted June 11, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I drink mineral water as well and both still and sparkling hav ethe P&O label on it and I have never seen anything else. If you order 6 bottles, you only pay for 5 and we pay just over £9 for them. We also buy water, especially for boiling in the kettle, if there's a shop near the ship in the ports of call but they're nearly always the local brand- except in the British shop in the BVI where they sell Highland Spring which is my favourite!! Cristaltips Posted June 12, 2013 #7 Share Posted June 12, 2013 I drink the tap water. I'm told it's what the ice is made from - says it all, really!!!
tartanexile81 Posted June 12, 2013 #8 Share Posted June 12, 2013 I drink the tap water. I'm told it's what the ice is made from - says it all, really!!! Don't mind a few cubes of ice in my lovely cocktail but hate the taste if I'm just drinking a glass of water. I order bottled water in the MDR too and use bottled water to make coffee in my cabin. davecttr Posted June 12, 2013 #9 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Drink the free water out of the little bottles in the pamper pack then refill them from the tap in the bathroom. Leave overnight with the top off in the fridge overnight and the 'nasty' taste will dissappear!.
MGillie Posted June 12, 2013 #10 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Is the P&O water definitely mineral water - or is it distilled instead?
Brayman Posted June 12, 2013 #11 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Is the P&O water definitely mineral water - or is it distilled instead? It is Natural Spring Water, that sound like Mineral Water to me!
outlooksync Posted June 13, 2013 #12 Share Posted June 13, 2013 Two options I suggest. Do what we always do on P&O, and drink the tap water or pack large bottles of water in your case. No weight restriction, just make sure you don't overdo it and hurt your back. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
Manda Panda Posted June 13, 2013 #13 Share Posted June 13, 2013 Hi On Royal Caribbean we take a couple of packs of water, stick a luggage label on them and they end up in our room with our luggage (from Southampton), we were wondering if we could do the same on P&O, although they are probably cheaper to buy on a P&O ship than on Royal.
