Sitka Tender with Excursion?

I searched but am new to these boards and am still learning to navigate, forgive me!

I am booked on an Inside Passage cruise in September. According to the itinerary, we arrive in Sitka at 7:00 and I have booked a 7:30 excursion. I'm hoping that means we MEET at 7:30 since this is a tender port. That said, do people with early excursions get priority tenders off the ship so we don't miss them? If so, how is that usually coordinated?

Thanks in advance!

We did the wildlife trip in May in Sitka- the boat picked us up at the ship from the tender platform. At the end of the trip they dropped us downtown at the dock.

Wow that's super convenient! I'm doing the kayaking trip so I don't think that's the case for us but thanks for the reply!

Assuming you mean you have a ship's tour, yes.... you will meet together, get your tour stickers and when called head down to the tenders. It is well coordinated. Your tour will be called around 7:30.

Yes it's an official tour through HAL. Thanks!
