Spirit Balcony Access

Hi,

I'm just looking into the Spirit as a possibility for a future cruise.

It would be my wife, myself and out son (currently 8). In the evenings, when our son has gone to sleep, I often like to sit on the balcony. I've been doing some research on here, as I know the cabins on the Spirit are small, and I've read some differing reports about how easy it is to get onto the balcony when the pull out is being used. I've read some people claim that you can do so and others who say you can't.

Does anyone have any experience they can report, and possibly photos of the sofa pulled out.

Also, I notice that there are some rooms which are specified as family rooms. In my experience on NCL, this usually just means that they are near the kids club but not any bigger, which seems to be the case here. Can anyone confirm this is so on the Spirit.

Thanks.
