Thank goodness we have another cruise booked!

Not long ago, my husband and I were staying in a hotel close to water and we were on the 10th floor overlooking the water. Other than the fact that the floor wasn't actually moving, it was like being on a ship without a balcony! Same view but no mooring lines when I looked down.

 

If you have ever done this, you know exactly how I felt.

We always try to get a hotel room with a balcony whenever we can.

Makes it feel like we are on a ship.

My favorite ever was in Auckland at a hotel on a balcony looking directly across to the ship's balcony that was going to be ours. If I'd tried to plan it, it wouldn't have happened.

Whats even more fun is to book a hotel near a cruise center and you can watch the ships go in and out, even if your not. :D
