Bringing wine and coke on board

Hi all

Leave on Monday for our cruise on Infinity. We didn't get the drinks package so planning on bringing 2 bottles of wine and a box of coke. Just wanted to check we can do that (& put a luggage label on the coke and check in with our main luggage)

Thanks for your advice!

Hope it's soft drink you're referring to:)

Whilst you are allowed 2 bottles of wine per stateroom, people have reported on here that if you go through security separately you could probably get away with 2 bottles of wine EACH in your hand luggage without anyone knowing.

Not that I would know-I just read it:rolleyes:

I would recommend a couple of wraps with duct tape around each package of soda or water just to keep the packaging intact during any inadvertent rough handling. ;)

And a luggage tag (or two) appropriately placed for easy identification.

We did just that on our recent Silhouette TA and both of the "doubled up 12 packs" of diet dew and coke arrived in perfect condition, saving us over 100 bucks during the cruise. :D

This practice leaves more of your OBC for the martinis!

(what we won't do to support or terrible habits!:o)

Even with that, there was this absolutely wonderful couple from Canada was constantly sharing their drinks with us! :D

Maybe they were undercover agents/representatives from "the beverage industry" and were trying to get us addicted!? :p
