The Danube is Open again

After almost a month of closures the Danube is open again.

The Austrian lock partially reopened at 07:00 today, it is anticipated that it will be fully open in September. This will mean that it may take extra time to use the locks, however they will be passable and the crew are expert at this.

The lock status page now shows Green for each lock in Austria (Update - I now see that Melk is shut for a couple of hours (until midday CET) , however I guess that is normal !!)

I hope that everything is smooth for the rest of the year (well at least for my cruise next week from Budapest to Amsterdam !!)

More information on the notices posted yesterday is in the thread:-
