Cruising with an 18 month old - any advice

My husband parents and mother in law are going on celebrity eclipse next may to Scandinavia and St Petersburg .

 

My husband and I have cruised before on princess but this will be our first time on celebrity and with our daughter.

 

Just wondering if anyone used the babysitting service and how they found it ?

 

Has anyone taken their children in the dining room for dinner ? We re on first sitting as I would like her to eat with us.

 

Any other tips would be helpful both for on and off the ship. We have booked a private tour in St Petersburg as thought this would be better.

Most folks take their kids to the dining room! They are most welcome there!

 

Your idea of private tours is good....it gives you flexibility that a big, group tour won't.
