Another Early Saver price drop question

Sorry if this has been asked before ...

 

- Booked 7C Cove Balcony a while ago with ES Price Protection

- Specific cabin assigned at booking

- Price for the same category yesterday dropped by $160

- Applied for a reduction in price last night

- CCL got back to me almost right away, I have 24 hrs to make up my mind

- I have to forego the $50 promotional OBC I got when I booked. I am OK with that (I have a "net gain") of $110.

 

Question: Can CCL move me to another cabin if I go for it (within the same category I supposed)? I really like the specific cabin I had already chosen.

 

Any help or comments would be very much appreciated.

if its the same category you will stay where you are-- if its a different category you can be moved

Normally not when you price match against the same category. You can also add a message to the ES Form that states you do not wished to change cabins.

Yeah, I give up my 80 obc to get 180 ( a gain of 100 with the price drop)

 

But where can I view the obc?

I see where the price was adjusted. But where will it show on board credits?

 

Also, how early can I do online check in?

I got mine approved today, talk about being efficient, 24 hours turnaround!

 

I also got an email from CCL saying since the final payment has not been made, rather than giving me OBC, they just lowered the final payment amount by $160. I checked "Manage My Cruise", everything is there (i.e. lesser amount to settle). I am happy.
