Cruise Cash!

I recently got a cruise cash $50.00 from my mother-in-law for a birthday gift to use on my cruise in November. The email shows it can be used in the gift shop, cherry on top and funnel gear. Is this the only place it can be used? I thought it would be added to my S&S account! So can anyone who has purchased this tell me where else I can use it like the casino I hope!:eek:

It is added to your s&s account. I purchased some for our upcoming cruise. The first purchase confused me since I was not able to actually view anything through my booking info so I called customer service and they verified that I had X amount on my account. She assured me it was there and could be used with everything that is chargeable to my s&s account. :)

Thanks for all the info so far on the cruise cash, and I don't want to hijack this thread...but, if the cruise cash is placed on your SS acct and you have additional OBC that is also on your acct. Which is used first? The cruise cash is non refundable and for that sailing only and my OBC is refundable...

Carnival will use your non refundable obc first. So if you have cruise cash it will be used before the refundable obc. At least this has always been the way it has been in the past. They use the non refundable obc first then use the refundable so that if you have any obc left it will be refunded to you.
