Island princess D624-D629

I am looking at a southbound Alaska cruise for next summer.

 

I've never sailed Princess before. Been on HAL 5 times. I like the Princess itinerary better.

 

Right now I have D628 on hold. It looks like these cabins have a larger balcony than the standard balcony staterooms.

 

I've searched for pics and can't seem to find any.

 

Anybody know if the balconies are larger or not?

According to Princess that balcony is 49 sq feet, so basically a standard balcony.

I had D502 and D501; from looking at the deck plan, looks like it should be the same. Lovely large covered balcony! I checked Tom O's great link and D628 also shows as a covered balcony. Excellent choice for Alaska.

We've been on the Island and Coral several times in those cabins. Yes, the balconies are larger than the standard BD balcony cabins.
