Booking early/last minute to Ensenada 3 day cruise

Do room rates drop at all for Ensenada 3 day cruises in September? Or is it best to book now?

 

I went on my first cruise to Alaska last month and noticed that booking early was not cost efficient. Our room rate drastically dropped a month before we set sail. Luckily, we were able to upgrade from Interior to Balcony at no cost.

 

Would it be the same deal with a 3 day cruise from Long Beach to Ensenada?

A lot depends on the weather. If there are tropical storms near your date, the price will drop as people get scared to book.

Have sailed the Ensenada cruise many times out of Long Beach. Rarely do the prices ever drop.

The west coast cruises rarely have price drops, especially the very popular 3-day cruises. Book Early Saver and you can take advantage until the last minute should there be any price drops.

What is Early Saver? How do you go about booking that?

If early saver is still available it will show up as one of the price options when you book the cruise. Then if the price goes down you fill out an early saver form and get the difference either dropped off how much you have to pay or as onboard credit if you have already paid in full.
