Tux out of place?

It seems to me that there is a higher percentage of men who wear tuxes than women who wear long gowns.

I loved the times that my husband wore his tuxes and I wore my long gowns. We no longer do because we like to do longer cruises and packing is a problem (mostly because of the extra pair of shoes that someone else mentioned). We do still dress up but in a suit/short cocktail dress. It seems like that has become the norm lately but if you want to wear a tux go for it. I love to see a man in a tux!
