2:45 departure from Ft. Lauderdale

Ask for the latest departure time possible for your lugguage tags, sleep in, have a nice breakfast, relax as long as possible on a quiet place on the upper decks and be one of the last ones to get off the ship.

Then you claim your luggage, go through customs, catch a taxi to the airport, fire up your laptop and catch up on your email with the free WiFi at FLL. Before you know it they will be making your boarding call.

Agree that you do have time to stop at a nice spot for a farewell lunch before heading to the airport. Not much time to do anything else. Would beat sitting at the airport. Chcek to see it you can send your bags ahead on your ship.

You could take one of the ship's excursions, which drop you at the airport. Easy, peasy... We have done an airboat ride, and the Hollywood beach extended stay excursion. We liked both of them.
