Odyssey, Nov.15 to Dec.7

Our cruise stops for one day in Port Blair, India and we need a visa as Seabourn is not, or not able to get a blanket visa for the ship. It seems that the Indian government has given visa issuance to a new company as of July 1st and they are overwhelmed! Now I have found out that you can't apply until 90 days prior to arrival. Has anyone gotten an Indian visa lately.....and if after July 1 whom did you go through? It's always something!

My advice is to use a visa service like Zierers and let them handle them whole thing for you. They charge a fee but it's worth every penny to avoid the stress of having to deal with embassies and their rules yourself.
