diplomats Posted July 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2013 Has anyone had recent experience with Chef's Table on the Emerald Princess. Have booked for the Baltic/TA departing Copenhagen August 30 and just wondering if the recent Chef's Table experiences have been worthwhile. Thanks for any replies. Rare PescadoAmarillo Posted July 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2013 We did it in February (don't know if that qualifies as recent though). Rare RLK33853 Posted July 28, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2013 Did the Chef's Dinner in June on the same Baltic cruise and it was great as usual. Each ship or Chef of course is a little different - this time the Dinner seemed more homestyle where the last one on the Coral was very much about different foods and presentation. This time the Chef was very involved with all the passengers and there was great interaction. The menu was: Lobster Margarita with Avocados and Mangos Asian Flavored Tuna Tartar Fontina Cheese Quiche, Truffle and Sun Blushed Cherry Tomato Caviar on Roaster Red Bliss New Potatoes Toast *** Black Truffles - Porcini Mushrooms "Arborio" Risotto Smoked Tomato Coulis *** Strawberry and Cracked Pepper Sorbet *** "Double Impact" Surf and Turf Lobster Tail, Diver Scallops, Beef Filet Mignons, Lamb Rack Carved Table Side Roasted Chateau Potatos, Vegetables Bundle Mustard Hollandaise, Green Pepper Corn Jus *** Slightly Baked Brie on Fig Baguette Radicchio & Basil Salad *** Soft Center Chocolate Fallen Cake, Whiskey-Soaked Fresh Berries, Vanilla Ice Cream *** Coffee and Tea with Chef Michael's Homemade Mignardises The Chef's Dinner was the evening of the Aarhus port. Enjoy yourselves.
