Ginnyfyr Posted July 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2013 We sail on Glory on Monday (eeek!) Still haven't decided if we'll explore NB & NS on our own or maybe do a ship excursion, but if we do decide to book something online thru Carnival, will we be billed immediately or do they wait till we've actually done the excursion? We have sailed Princess before and they basically just hold your spot and then bill you (on your onboard account) once you've gone on the excursion, whereas Celebrity billed us at the time of booking. I guess it doesn't really matter since we're so close to sailing, but just curious to know. Thanks!
mrsd912 Posted July 31, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2013 If you book online then you must "checkout", causing you to pay for them online prior to cruising. If you wait to book until you get on board the ship, they will be billed to your Sail and Sign (Sign and Sale?) account. Enjoy your vacation! hannahsmomtoo Posted July 31, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2013 When you book through the Carnival Website you are immediately billed the full amount. ( I have 3 booked for our upcoming cruise ) I always make sure and print a copy of my "receipt email" to show I have paid. ;)
Ginnyfyr Posted July 31, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Thanks so much for the quick replies! I think we'll probably just wait and book on board if we see something we want to do.
